NAPCAIM ICON 2023

Kanjoor: NAPCAIM ICON 2023 - 2nd International Conference of National Association of Palliative Care for AYUSH and Integrative Medicine, is being held from 5th to 7th October 2023 at Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kalamassery, Kochi, Kerala, India.

Shri Sarbananda Sonowalji, Hon’ble Union Minister for Ports, Shipping & Waterways and AYUSH, formally released the Conference brochure by handing over to Shri Mujeeb Kuttamassery, Secretary, Kerala State Chapter, NAPCAIM, at a solemn function held at Suraksha Palliative Care Centre, Kanjoor.

Dr. Jayashree Nair, Vice President, NAPCAIM Aluva City Chapter and Palliative Care Physician, Suraksha Palliative Care Centre, Shri Ramaswamy, Chief Administrator, Dattatreya Integrated Holistic Healthcare Hospital, Dr. Prashanth Raghavan, Managing Director,  Ayush Prana, Dr.  Keshavan, former Professor of General Medicine, Kottayam Medical College, Dr. Manju Rinoy, Medical Officer, Government PHC, Kaladi, Ms. Anjali Mahesh, Dietitian, Ms. Priyanka Abhilash, Clinical Supervisor, Dr. Rajesh, Dr. Vidya Menon, Assistant Professors of Tripunithura Government Ayurveda College and Shri Shanavas Sreemoolanagaram, Public Activist, participated.

Dattatreya Integrated Holistic Healthcare Hospital was founded by Vaidyaratnam Dr.Raghavan Ramankutty with his conviction on the clinical potentialities of Ayurveda and to integrate  it with all branches of medicine and rehabilitation, to help chronically ill patients to recover and maintain physical and mental health  through natural and holistic means.   He was traditionally trained in Ayurveda for 14 and 1/2 years at the Dathathreya Ashram located in the Himalayas.  Dr. Raghavan is also qualified in modern system of medicine, with two years training in emergency medicine and degree in Diabetology.  He is also the President of NAPCAIM Kanjoor City Chapter.
