ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS  SKILL TRANSFER EMPOWERS RURAL GIRL CHILDREN TO BECOME LEADERS IN PALLIATIVE CARE That was a shiny Monday in December when five of  us started off from Kosish The Hospice in a car for a  medical camp for the poorest-of-the poor elderly  persons and home visit near Abra, a remote village in Pindrajhora, on the Jharkhand-West Bengal  Border, navigated by a student of the Six Months   Geriatric and Palliative Nursing Aide Course on a  two wheeler. While travelling, the car and the two wheeler stopped  to pick up another person on the two wheeler. I noticed that it was a lady with a child on her lap. Both  the vehicles continued their journey. At one point, I  asked the navigator to shift the lady with the child to  the car on safety grounds and I continued the rest of  my journey on the two wheeler.   “QUALITY AND COMMITMENT RECEIVES SOCIAL RECOGNITION AND COOPERATION” Happy to report that Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education (SSAHE) (A Deemed tobe University), Tumkur, Karnataka,  has enrol led  as the 17th   Organisational Member of National Association of Palliative Care for AYUSH and Integrative Medicine ( NAPCAIM ).
