ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS  SKILL TRANSFER EMPOWERS RURAL GIRL CHILDREN TO BECOME LEADERS IN PALLIATIVE CARE That was a shiny Monday in December when five of  us started off from Kosish The Hospice in a car for a  medical camp for the poorest-of-the poor elderly  persons and home visit near Abra, a remote village in Pindrajhora, on the Jharkhand-West Bengal  Border, navigated by a student of the Six Months   Geriatric and Palliative Nursing Aide Course on a  two wheeler. While travelling, the car and the two wheeler stopped  to pick up another person on the two wheeler. I noticed that it was a lady with a child on her lap. Both  the vehicles continued their journey. At one point, I  asked the navigator to shift the lady with the child to  the car on safety grounds and I continued the rest of  my journey on the two wheeler.
